Black White Denim’s LFW Diaries Monday 20th February 2012

The weather’s great (well, alright), the people are fashionable (mostly) and the WiFi is iffy, it could only be London Fashion Week! Mark Fast AW12 Catwalk Show, BFC Show Space

“How can a heart
that’s filled with love
start to cry,
when all the world
seemed so right,
how can love die.
Was it me,
Was it you;
Questions in a world of blue”

Fire Walk with Me lyrics

“Mark Fast’s Autumn/Winter collection, titled ‘Questions in a World of Blue’ took the Canadian born designer to a new level. By fusing merino wool, cashmere and mohair fabrics with elastomeric qualities Mark’s signature style stepped into a new realm: fundamentally wearable and sensational. The over-sized cardigan featured giving a nod to ‘boyfriend’ dressing before bead embellished body-con dresses in electric blue ended the show on an elegant note.

“Mark Fast progresses season on season both creatively and as a fashion brand. Fast’s AW12 Catwalk show attracted Mollie of The Saturdays and Mr. Kanye West.”
